With a passion for giving back, she is actively involved in charitable projects and sits on the board of directors for LIFT Women in Security. In 2022 she founded Teach Kids Tech, a public charity that provides children in underserved communities with access to technical literature and educational opportunities in Colorado. Above all, she is a proud mother to her 10-year-old son, who is the entire inspiration for this book.
