Love languages are a theory related to the ways people express, identify, and receive love. Think about them like literal languages: there are upwards of 6,500 different languages in the world, which means there are at LEAST 6,500 different ways humans communicate with each other. Many languages also have various dialects (German has 250!) which are like languages within a language. While we all may be saying the same or similar things, we use a wide variety of words, movements, and sounds to express them, and there is no single "official" or "correct" way to do it. Same goes for love.
