About the Author

Donnellan is co-founder of the internationally acclaimed theatre company, Cheek By Jowl. From 1989 to 1997, he was associate director of the Royal National Theatre, and has worked with the Avignon Festival, the Maly Theatre of St. Petersburg and the Royal Shakespeare Company. He has been presented with many international awards, including the Olivier for Outstanding Achievement.
