Cancer incidence is rising throughout the world. With ageing of the world population, cancer is going to be a bigger problem than ever. Though the advances in modern cancer medicine have been staggering, a lot of misconceptions are still there, and so is the lack of awareness of not only the ever changing landscape of cancer treatment but also of preventive and screening measures. As a practicing medical oncologist, I have seen many aspects of these problems.
