Kaimi, a human, Omar, an Elder, and Bruto, a Zovvler, are given a ship and the suspected coordinates of Agnor's book. But things quickly get off course. As they try to navigate being lost in deep space, they meet interesting, potentially dangerous, beings. As they try to find their way back to Agnor's book, they find the book's history leads to a greater mystery.
