But Scripture teaches that only God is eternal and self-existent and that all else emanated from his creative power, including the universe, so our world will end. But when will this happen? The answer is No. The Creator of time and space and all therein has given us a timeline from the foundation of this present age to the end of this world, and he has filled in specific events and happenings that will serve as guideposts to keep us on track and in a state of watchfulness so that when He appears, we may have confidence and not be ashamed before Him at His coming (1Jn.2:28).
