The story begins in 1977, the year baby Mason is dumped on his father's doorstep. He endures years of abuse and mistreatment at the hands of his family, and teachers, abuse that helps shape his anarchic world view and teaches him what is important in life. It ends in 2022 when Mason slowly begins his recovery from a savage beating and resumes his Quixotic march into oblivion.
This is a comedy novel, but many of the themes are quite graphic and brutal. Not recommended for minors, or anybody who is easily offended by toilet humour, political incorrectness, or bad language.
