She and her husband are raising their six teenaged children, three adopted and three biological, on a small hobby farm north of Minneapolis, MN. In the midst of homeschooling their six children, the couple has provided countless hours of respite to families of children struggling with difficult behaviors due to a variety of issues including RAD, Trauma, FAS, and grief. For years, they have walked along side a multitude of adoptive families offering encouragement, expertise, and a hand up.
