ELZMON-5.0 out of 5 stars-Great for overall general knowledge for the vocalist. Fun and easy to read with cool quotes and stories!
BRIAN KANE-5.0 out of 5 stars-I purchased Vocal Mastery as a Christmas present for my oldest child who's expressed interest in learning how to sing. I've seen the author, Tad Sisler, perform before and was impressed with Tad's vocals. I wanted to get a book from a proven musician whose has had decades of experience singing professionally. There are six chapters covering all the essential topics both myself as a parent and my aspiring pre-teen singer wanted to know: the physics / biology of singing, warming up, breathing techniques, song interpretation, vocal control, hydration and vocal health, different vocal styles, music theory basics, building confidence, performing publicly, building a career in music, music industry challenges, and keys to success in a vocal career. If you've got someone who wants to get into vocals - maybe even compete in a singing competition - this is a great primer. Tad is a proven vocalist with decades of experience and this book captures the foundations well.
MARK ROSENBURG-5.0 out of 5 stars -Easy to read, I like the graphics and how they tie into the information. I performed as a child, and just stopped when my voice changed. I particularly liked the info about how others had events shape their voices.
CRAIG S.-5.0 out of 5 stars -An enjoyable read packed with useful information regarding exercises for practice, detailed descriptions of various styles of music and what artists to listen to, and inspiring anecdotes from renowned figures.
LINDA J. ROBLEDO-5.0 out of 5 stars -I have been a professional singer for the past 40 years. I still found a few tips and suggestions that were of value to me today. The book was well written and obviously from the heart. I look forward to reading more of the series.
