My name is Arletha Wright Born to May Wright and Josie Moore. Born and raised in Los Angeles, Ca., July 26, 1959. I have 3 sisters, Chequita, Thenia and Sandra. Have you noticed something about our names? Yes, our name ends with an A. My father had another daughter, I have 4 sisters not 3. I was born in this beautiful city, Los Angeles. I went to many elementary and intermediate schools. I graduated from George Washington High School in June 1977. Went to Los Angeles Southwest College for 2 1/2 years and got a certificate. On June 23, 1981 my first child was born. I hesitated on naming him after my father because I felt if I name him after him, I wouldn't have him long. I didn't want to feel that pain again. Finally I had to give him a name. His name is Mayo Quattara Linton. Two years later, I gave birth to a beautiful daughter name Myra Octavia Linton who was born on June 6, 1983. I named her after one of my nurses. Found out later, her name means bitter. Three years after that I was pregnant with my third child. I didn't think I would be doing this again. Before having the baby, I got married to the father of my kids. I delivered My cah November 7, 1986, he was also a handsome child. My husband and I separated after being married for 1 year. He saw the kids whenever he wanted to. After 6 years off and on with this marriage, I filed for a divorce. I kept my kids with me. We had some good and bad days. We all grew together and with God help and guidance, we did pretty good. I was a hard working mother. I did what I had to do to keep my family together. If it wasn't for the grace of God, we don't know how in the world we would have made it. All thanks and glory goes to the man above. I have been writing since I was about 7 years old. Some of it made sense and some of it didn't. I knew what I wanted to say. The reason why I started writing, I was always shy and tie tongue. People didn't understand what I was saying so I wrote it. I believe the first short story I wrote was my little red house. I wrote because of things I saw and experienced. The title of my book is "ME MYSELF AND I". What you will be reading, rather it is a poem, short story or long story, I'm in there somewhere. My kids are all grown up, accept Mycah, he is 17 and in the 12th grade, no kids. I have 3 beautiful grandkids. Mayo has one, Anaija, she is so cute. She is 3. My daughter Myra has two kids, Kazh'mire(3) and Marshon,(5months). I call Marshon, MD - medical doctor. In this book I'm writing, I pray and hope it reaches a lot of people because it is an interesting book to read. Some parts are funny. What I'm telling people is, no matter what you go through, keep your faith and trust in God, not an. My goals are to be debt free, buy my 2 story house with a big back and front yard, big bedrooms, to be a trillionire so I can help those that really need help. To have the monies to open up my hotdog stand, write more books and to but my jaq.
