Description

She went looking for someone, but it wasn't him.

After a string of disappointments for chirpy city girl Autumn Elworthy, discovering her notoriously unstable mother has run off again is the last straw. When Autumn learns her mother's last known whereabouts was a remote Scottish Island, she makes the rash decision to go searching for her.

Taciturn islander Richard Linden has his reasons for choosing the remote Isle of Mull as home. He's on a deadline and doesn't need any complications or company. But everything changes after a chance encounter with Autumn.

Autumn chips away at Richard's reserve until his carefully constructed walls start to crumble. But Autumn's just a passing visitor and Richard has no plans to leave. Will they realise, before it's too late, that what they've been searching for isn't necessarily what's missing?

β™₯ An Autumn Hideaway is the fourth book in the Scottish Island Escapes series, but can be read on its own.

β™₯ A beautiful romance story, perfect for fans of Darcie Boleyn, Emma Jackson and Heidi Swain

Critic Reviews

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I was so invested in Autumn (lead character) and the opening scene of her heading over to somewhat remote island just had me with it's vividness and spark!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Fantastic book with gorgeous characters, beautiful romance and vivid, well, vivid everything really!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Autumn was a joy to follow and I couldn't help but feel for Richard. With truly relatable characters, and another fabulously endearing story, I was rooting for these two from the beginning!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A charming romance with good emotional depth of the characters shown. I liked that there was a little bit of mystery too.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐An Autumn Hideaway is just wonderful! I loved every word! Richard has the grump of Mr Darcy and the heart of a giant lion crossed with a teddy bear. I was rooting for them to get together and stay together, and for two lovely people to finally have the happy ever after they both deserved.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I loved Autumn and Richard's story, it was ace. She's such a klutz and I can wholeheartedly relate to her and her backstory.
