William Robert Jolyon Turnbull was a prominent figure in British journalism and the television broadcasting industry. He was born on January 25, 1956, and passed away on August 31, 2022. In his latter years, he worked as a broadcaster for the radio station Classic FM. Before that, he worked for the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) for a long time as a host.
Between the years 2001 and 2016, he presided over BBC Breakfast as its principal male host. Besides that, he was the host of the game show Think Tank and the religious show Songs of Praise.
